When was the last time you engaged in a good old fashion game night? NBC has given game night a Hollywood twist by bringing stars together to play games for cash and prizes. Most of us only play for the glory of the win, but wouldn’t it be nice to actually take home some cash? Suppose the Monopoly funny money was real dough? That would make landing on Boardwalk with a hotel a whole new experience. There is one game that lets you earn money every time you “play”: the iPoll Mobile Mission game. Technically, these are more surveys than games, and you’re not so much “winning” as you are “earning,” but the sense of accomplishment is very similar. Every Mobile Mission is a challenge. The clock is running regarding how long that challenge is open. At the end of that challenge, you can earn a reward. If that’s not a game, I don’t know what is! As an added bonus, some of these Mobile Mission games can be quite tasty.
Do you have any treasure in your home? Let’s stipulate that significant others, kids, dogs, and cats will always be considered treasure. But what about museum quality stuff? Perhaps you have a family heirloom that has been passed down through the generations. Maybe you’re some sort of collector who has a few rare items among your shelves of knick-knacks. Of course, you could also count your comfy recliner as a treasure, especially when you “find it” after a hard day’s work. Some folks make their living looking for treasure, whether it may literally be buried somewhere or simply hiding at a yard sale, waiting to be discovered. Did you know that you have a kind of treasure map waiting for you right on your mobile phone? Your iPoll app’s list of Mobile Missions is there to guide you to endless rewards. Each of those missions can send you in search of a product or a store where you can unlock untold riches to fill your iPoll rewards account. Isn’t finding money what treasure hunting is all about?
Ever wonder what happens to your survey responses?
Here is a great example of one way we put them to use. We were interested in finding out how you felt about this years’ Super Bowl XIVIII. Were you overwhelmed or underwhelmed with the final score? Or were you just in it for the commercials?
Got feedback on our Super Bowl quiz? Or suggestions for other quizzes you’d like to see in the near future? Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org!
What will over 100 million people be doing this Sunday? Mostly likely many people will participating in that time-honored tradition of stuffing our gobs with nachos as we yell at the television. Yes, it is Super Bowl Sunday. Even if your hometown teams aren’t the Seahawks or the Broncos, you’ll probably still tune in. In fact, with all the hype leading up to the event, you’ll feel compelled to watch if only to have an answer to the question, “Did you see the game?” Or “Did you see that commercial?” Beyond the Super Bowl, getting pumped for game day is another time-honored tradition. It really doesn’t matter what game you’re getting pumped for. When you put on the jersey or fry up the wings, you’re showing your pride and team spirit. I would put forth the argument that you should take the same approach with your iPoll Mobile Missions. Treat them like game day and you’re sure to come out the winner every time.
Parents have the responsibility to decide what they should share with their children. Obviously, you don’t need to sit down with your five-year-old to discuss your 401K investments. You also don’t need to talk about Congress’ low approval rating, or tension surrounding security at the upcoming Winter Olympics. What you can discuss with the young ones are things that matter to them: what is for dinner, what to watch on TV, and what the Tooth Fairy will be bringing in exchange for that missing cuspid. I would argue (although some may argue against me) that encouraging children to have and share opinions will go a long way towards getting them ready for socialization in the real world.

Here is a great example of one way we put them to use. With the holiday shopping season rapidly closing, we wanted to find out about your shopping habits, hot gifts and travel plans. Over 1,000 iPoll Army™ members responded:
When it comes to shopping for gifts, most prefer a ‘mobile’ platform compared ‘in store’:
Gift cards [GC] have also become the go-to gift this year, with over 65% making this their primary option:
Traveling for the holidays? Although 53 percent prefer to stay at home, the majority of those who do travel (70%) chose to visit family:
At iPoll, we are always on the lookout for standout members who go above and beyond the average survey taker.

Full disclosure: I love me some Christmas music. However, I can’t start listening until Thanksgiving. It’s just a thing. In my neck of the words, there are already a couple of radio stations who are doing their part by playing holiday music around the clock. That’s just fine. I’ve also got my winter wonderland tunes loaded up on my iPhone. New favorite: Louis Armstrong’s Christmas in New Orleans. (Must resist listening until Thanksgiving!). Your holiday playlist could get a big boost from iPoll this year. That’s because the more mobile missions you complete the more bucks you’ll have to play with. One of the most popular rewards on iPoll is the iTunes gift card. With a few clicks of the mouse and strokes of the keyboard you could be grooving out to all kinds of music, movies, TV and audio books. Time to fire up your holiday playlists.
